Recovery Housing Alliance exists to make sure that a lack of money is never the reason someone doesn't get that chance. We connect people ready to change their lives with safe, structured, sober living, and we cover the financial barriers that would otherwise stand in the way.
We serve people in recovery in San Luis Obispo County, and we believe every single one of them deserves a real shot at a new life.
Be the reason someone gets a second chance.
For many people ready to enter recovery, the biggest obstacle isn't willingness. It's money.
A first month of sober living costs around $1,000. That's it. But without it, someone who is ready to change their life today may not get the chance.
Recovery Housing Alliance removes that barrier. Your donation goes directly to covering the cost of safe, sober housing for individuals at the moment they're ready to take the first step. Every dollar is accounted for. Funds are paid directly to the sober living home, based on the resident's stay.
One month of housing. One real chance at a new life.
The need in our community is real.
In San Luis Obispo County, hundreds of people are living without shelter right now. More than half of them are struggling with addiction and have nowhere safe to begin their recovery.

What we do
We provide access to safe, clean, sober living homes for individuals in early recovery.
Through Recovery Housing Alliance, people who are ready to change their lives can apply for financial support to cover their first month of housing in a structured, substance-free environment. That stability is what they need to find work, rebuild routines, and begin the hard, meaningful work of recovery.
If you or someone you love is ready to take that first step, we want to help make it possible.
